Suffering Is Me Having to Hear Youa Ha H

In a book i used the term suffering, and i met somebody who got really mad of me doing it. Says, you know, suffering is what my parents went through under hitler. And that sort of objection is insufferable. Suffering is me having to hear youa ha h. philosophy has psychological egoists and hedonistsand i find it to the extent that it's explanatory. It just seems obviously false in lots of casesd and when it doesn't, it just becomes trivial.
