Beware of Asceticism

I want to get lost in jesus. I don't want to be pointed in any other direction than jesus, the cross and his word. If i find more interested in people hearing about my opinion, or my prophetic insight, or my vision, or my past experience, or my hope for the future, or myne whatever,. And i have become my own idol. Paul says, beware of asceticism, which comes out of verses 20 to 20 threea.
