Most people on one fore nine, who were going to the final destination of malasia, were going on a holiday. Malasiais known for its very fine beaches, and they were looking forward to some sun and sand. And just the psychological terrorism felt by people who are hostages, which i think we cannot understate in the story. Yes, this is a large group of people from all over the world, americans, british, but 15 other nationalities, who end up as hostages at the mercy of serdam hussain. Even after 30 years of reporting this story, i continue to learn startling new information.
