If you were in charge of drug policy in the United States and could start completely from scratch, what set of policies would you put into place? The first thing i'ld do is legally regulate the drugs that people seek. People might have to pass a requirement like a driver's license in order to purchase something like heroine in coqain. I would also control a unit dose, make sure that thereis not enough in a product to kill people. When we are dealing with the illicit drug market, there isn't any quality control.
