The Darkest Dark
"The darkest dark" is based on real human events. It's written for a four-year-old, but when you get to the end of it, much as I did in the Apollo murders, I put in an afterword so that when you're six or seven or eight, you can read that section and see just how closely tied this is to a real person," he says. "I thought the book would be far more compelling if it wasn't just, you know, boopsie goes to the moon, but actually based onreal human events." He adds: "You get one body in your life. And so take care of it".
