Chimpanzees Self-Medite

Chimpanzees have been observed applying insects to their wounds. They would catch a flying insect, put it in their mouth and rub it on the wound. It's not known why they do this - could be saliva delivery system or something else. Researchers are even talking about using nano-sized nanowsized probes for new treatments.
