Buy and hold is another form of censorship in a way. It's a way of not having the truth. Why has buy and hold worked in the last 20 years? Well because the Fed has at various points in time done things to boost stocks. Now here we are in 2022, we have inflation. And I can imagine millions of people are devastated in 2022. They've watched something like Facebook go from a trillion dollar market cap to 250 billion - essentially a 75% decrease. How many pension funds do you think had the firemen and teachers and government workers, et cetera? Just blindly.
