The New Testament Forgiveness

A woman claims that she won't forgive because the bible says her truth is eye for eye, tooth for tooth. But if you came to me and said, judah, other than god himself, what's the overwhelming theme of the new testament forgiveness might come out of my mouth? I mightn't have sayn pretty much. And yet, here's a woman alive to day sayn i won't forgive  and i thought, how did this happen? Then i started to chuckle, only to realize that she is me and i am her. Like, i mean, there's so many inconsistencies in my life i'll never forgive. Bcause the bible says, eye for eye
