God, Help Us to Know When to Fight

God, as you continue to walk with us through the story of the people of Israel, we ask that you please help us to know when to fight. We're going to get to that in just one second. Let's start here. In the first verse we have a story that we've heard before. We just heard it from a different perspective. And yet at the same time, there is this sense of God's involved in this. Remember how in earlier in the Old Testament, when the people of God experienced pain, when they experienced exile,. When they experienced loss and destruction? This is the Lord God bringing us back.
