Is There a Link Between House Plants and Mental Health?

There is a growing evidence base that describes the positive benefits of plants to our mental health. Some exciting emerging research trying to work out which elements in nature are having this impact and how they are doing it. And i wonder whether one of the key factors might be the simple act of going out into nature. We look at something that's bigger than ourselves, and that's different from ourselves,. That doesn't care about our worries or what we're worrying about. Whether it can help us put things into perspective a bit. Is that something any of you can relate to?
