Lib Dems have shifted the conservative party to a place which i think people haven't seen before, says Ed Miliband. The idea of giving parents vouchers for their children's education is 'a very progressive policy', he adds. Parents could spend it on extra curricular stuff like spore or skiing lessons - but if school wasn't engaging well with them then they could go elsewhere. And one of the things i'm doing is setting up an advisory group to talk to teachers and others and schools about what are the bounds of this.
