Is There a Timeframe for Oncologic Urgent Problems?
Most commonly it's usually lung or lymphoma. It again depends on the type of cancer, how fast it is growing. Small cell lung cancer, lymphomas might be growing much more rapidly. And then besides stenting and radiation, another thing might be chemotherapy. If they're very sick and there's a clot, this might involve the vascular group or I are actually doing some kind of a thrombolysis before putting a stent in. So those are things to keep in mind as well.
