The Paradox of Peace in Christianity

There is nothing unpeaceful about fighting for your home. It's this interesting sort of paradox again that it's not necessarily against peace to have to fight for peace at times or just to having to fight period. I can't remember the quotation or the source even and I hope it's Chesterton. But somewhere, just the words of island peace kind of come to mind. And if I'm not mistaken, I think it's when he's describing in orthodoxy sort of the balance of virtues that gets accomplished in Christianity.
