The Cathars in Toulouse

The Albegensians were a splinter group that deviated from the true Catholic Church. They practiced non-violence and outlawed war for their followers. The Cathars were suspected of migrating from those heathens, the Byzantines in the east. Ramon VI was infuriated by Ramon VI's tolerance of the Cathars and Albe. Baudouin on the other hand was a devout, loyal Catholic. He was a man of principles and a steward of the faith.
