The Importance of Making Objective Decisions
I want to challenge you a little bit on the notion of making objective decisions. As a leader, like, as you've said yourself, you're viewing everything through this subjective lens. Was there a part of you that had to sort of let go or of this notion of objective decisions? I feel like the most important part of the decision making was not falling in love with your decision. It's about taking information as it goes and then augmenting your decision based on new information. So I always told people in meetings, okay, it's fine. Yes, Russia is really bad. Like fuck Russia. You just make a snap decision and you stick with it unless you have new information.
