The Four Kinds of Knowing
A propositional knowing is the one that is most predominant, ah, and for good, for good and for ill, in our culture. You're not getting a sense of truth; you're geting a sense of power. And what's called appropriate enough procedure memory, which is distinct from cementic memory, but procedura. The participatory knowing emerges about at biological, cultural and cognitive levels how you and the environment are being mutually shaped to fit each other.
