Quinn and Annie Arno can both grab you at the gut, turn the page, don't expect it. There's a sense that her life has been pre-written for her as it is for many people who maybe don't have a lot of social capital or options. The idea I think if you come from a working class background is that you're likely to get married quite young probably and you'll get a job. And that's very much just sort of there waiting for you to just kind of get on with it. So that's another aspect of sort of resisting narrative in a way.
