What's the Best Approach to Anesthesia?

In airway management, there's two approaches. There's a wake or doing an RSI on a penetrating neck injury. And I have a lot of problem with that as an approach. Unless this was sort of a Hail Mary, you know, the patient's dying, I need to control the situation. So what I did is I called the huddle and said, listen, this is my thoughts about what the injuries are potentially and what my approach would be. Then I was trying to be diplomatic because I wanted to do this airway.And we agreed upon that approach.
