The Future of Editing

I think opportunities to be a storyteller are really high, but to be specifically an editor to do certain types of tasks, like assistant editor roles, things like that. My first job out of college was an assistant editor who synced audio and video on a Hollywood movie. There's no possible way that's a role anymore. I don't think so because that's too easy to be done with the machine. Also, 21 year old me was not to be trusted. Give me the AI who can sync audio and video. Yeah.
