Fucot's Discipline and Punish

Poncast looks at michel foucot's 19 75 book, discipline and punish. Book may seem to be just a history of criminology but is actually about the relationship between people in power and average citizen. Foucot describes what it was like to be a criminal in western europe in the 17 fifties. He gives an example of what the world was like by describing an actual punishment that was carried out on a criminal in the year 17 57.
