The Velvet Underground Song by John Cale
This was Andy Warhol's favorite Velvet Underground song. John Cale also took experimental cues from other avant-garde artists like John Cage by laying a chain of paper clips across the strings of his piano during what might be the album's best song. The track melts perfectly with Nico's double up vocals, Sterling Morrison's sideways hard drug psychedelic guitar, and Lou Reed's rubbery S&M ostrich tuned whatever.
