Do You Think the NHS Is Doing Enough to Support Doctors?
Do you think the NHS is doing enough to support them more generally, not just around visas? What more do you think needs to be done and what can the college do on this? I think the clear answer is no. Just because they're now becoming such a large number isn't a good enough reason. Even if there were a few of them, we should be supporting them. Coming halfway across the world to work in a foreign country in a language that's not your mother tongue is an immensely brave thing to do. Many of them are the creme de la creme in their own countries. And certainly my experience of working with the ones I've met is that they're amazingly bright
