Glenn Close: A Midwestern Motherfucker
Glenn Close adds an element of class to this film, even playing like the nutter that she's playing. Michael Douglas is for some reason. Brilliant at playing a sleazy mediocre sort of yuppy,. right? Yeah. But also he never plays like the good romantic lead. He's always also a cunt, isn't he? He's such a prick in this film. And her entire world and therefore his just become absolutely enwrapped with, you know, this sort of obsession. She's really kind of, she's state it all on this weekend of steamy sex with this lawyer.
