The Paradox of Participation in Mass

The Catholic Mass is both fully participatory. Like we don't just sit there and watch other people use their gifts, right? We were invited. Well, we participate, we embody the service itself. However, at the same time, there's the paradox of and yet it doesn't matter that we're there. And this would still happen.
