The Importance of Nimble Functional Analysis
SIB: If we provide reinforcement in the analysis and that precursor or problem behavior does not turn off, we stop the analysis. Our rule of thumb is the control condition should not be low, it should be zero. SIB: We want to do everything we can to minimize the amount of time so we can spend more time teaching skills. It's almost though, if you go to treat and you don't have zero levels in the control condition, you know you're going to have to add arbitrary punishment or reinforcement.
