The author used to go to a restaurant in South Florida on a regular basis. One day he ordered the chicken curry and when it arrived it had a different consistency than usual. He asked if the cook had changed but was assured that no the same cook was in the back. This went on for weeks until one day the owner of the restaurant asked me how the curry was. It's not so great I told her. Something has changed with the chicken curry.
