Is There a Reason to Expand the Freeway Through Austin?
I can't believe that this free way is getting expanded after everything we know about what the freeway did to east austin. It's like highway engineers have no social skills and ignore the relevant readings in class. I've said before many times, the cheapest and best way to do any highway expansion in texas is not you can actually take s h one 30 and make it an interstate highway. You don't have to expand the free way. You can actually reduce traffic that way.
