There is something on the order of 700 forms a verb can take. The only weirdness is that sometimes if the clench-nell form has a vowel following it, the sigma disappears. You've got indicative, subjunctive, optative, and imperative moods. And you can just throw these all together. Some people believe there is a true passive in classical Greek. I do not.
