The Importance of Strategy

A virus is very good at infecting ourself, but it's not thinking in the terms that you just described. It has hundreds of millions of years of evolution that have given it a genome which encodes contingencies supporting those strategies. On the other hand, take us. We're strategically obviously a bit inept. We mess everything up. There's a whole mess of modern society which shows human incompetence to an extraordinary degree when it comes to strategy. So humans are the species that are representation in inferentially powerful, but I think strategically a little bit lacking because we can be undone by a microbe.
