In an age of M world I take a year of the view that to some extent you identify with the copies of you within the computer. And my answer is that I don't know so that should be an acceptable answer to a question after thinking about it for a long time. There's only a 20% chance that there's the rest of the great filter and it might be in front of us but how short can you be of that? That seems like a really safe guess because there's so many people in the world that have so much variation.
