Your location in the world is one of the ways that you file information that's relevant. You go back to an old school for exampple, and all of a sudden memories start coming flooding back to you. The brain doesn't have everything loaded into working memory allthe ime. So there's a sense that clicking on the file has something to do with this spatial contaxt.
