Police found a blood-soaked Esquire magazine with a story about Sharon Tate and the Manson murders that had happened just a few months ago. So this feels very pre-planned. Jeffrey McDonald is free, but Collette's parents are really pressuring the CID to take it to court. And they take it to a grand jury who chooses to indict him for the murder of his wife and two children. This is nine years later. This man has been walking free for nine years until 1979. Now he is going on trial, which he had never been on before.
