We're not kicked out of the family if we are not walking a life worthy. It means that we aren't setting the example as a dad and it doesn't mean God looks at us and go, well, now I love you less. But it is that we as a dad have a responsibility to make sure that we are. You know, worthy and pleasing so that my children see him reflected. If you've ever felt God pulling you like you got a shock collar on...that's because you were probably headed for danger.
When the apostle Paul prayed for his Colossian friends, he wasn't just wishing them the best. He was challenging them to live lives worthy of the call Christ had placed on their lives. As a father and husband, you face the same challenge. God wants you to walk worthy of His call and to become all that He has created you to be as a man. Find out more about what it means to live a life worthy of God as a husband and a dad as we dig deeper into the power of Paul's prayer life in Colossians 1.
