A perennial tear is when there is a tear from the vagina towards anus. Forceps, which i often call the big salad servers, do a lot of damage to the pelvic floor. It's something like three or four times the risk of prolapses after forceps delivery. After se section, you know, after six weeks, the scar's pretty well healed off,. But actually, the the strength of that abdominal fascia is only about 50 to 60 % at six weeks. And even by six to seven months, you're about 70 to 90%.
