The Effects of Parenthood on Personality

I hear people talk about personality changes that may be related to parent. Is there any work looking at say how having children will actually have kind of personality consequences downstream? I don't know specifically for personality. There's documented changes over the lifespan in agreeableness and neuroticism. People tend to become less neurotic over time. So an emotion comes up quite a bit. Like we've talked about this in my household as parents because beforehand we used to be able to watch certain television shows that had violence on them. But then since having kids it is more bothersome to see certain images, especially when it involves a young child being harmed in things like this.
