Working for a dictator is like, you know, walking on a minefield. It's like cooking and playing chess at the same time because there is so many intrigues. You're really not protected from it as the chef. If anything, you kind of automatically come under suspicion if anything happens. The extreme case was the chef of Paul Pot who was 15 times she was accused of being Vietnamese, by Chinese, by American, by Russian spy. And15 times she was close to death. Amazing.
