What Is a Bad Word in Spanish?

The word padrastro has a different connotation than in english or french. In spanish it's apparently quite run of nasty. It seems like it has a real dark condentation to it. So bad word, it's like an insult, yoad talked to us, talked to us about padrastro. I think that that scene is where the novel started. And there are many families where people don't, don't use, and don't use any word. But i was like, what does this mean? This prejudice? All discussions are about legitimacy. And parons are facing legitimacy. Stepfathers, spabrastros are ar facing this from the very beginning
