The u.K's latest figures for inflation are for september, and it shows that prices rose three point one %. The underlying factors behind why we've seen such high inflation is is the energy price. But also, we've seen this rampupin in demand post locke down. That comes off the back of the fact that some people may have lost their jobs but didn't necessarily have anywhere to spend their money. So there's a willingness to spend and as inflation rises, there's a willing to actually pay higher prices.
