The Psychedelic Renaissance
The Ellucinian Mysteries were the largest mystery ceremonies in the world. They had a psychedelic component where people had a potion that they drank called kicking on. It was very interesting in the sense that they let women and slaves participate, not just men. And then it was wiped out in 396 by the Catholic Church. But everybody that we think of Plato, Aristotle, Pythagoras, you know, the luminaries of the Greek world, all had these psychedelic experiences.
