Is There Value to Theory of Understanding and Self Understanding?
Gadamer: There's something so out of sync with understanding oneself in the world as a part of the world in that practice to me. He says there is still value to the theory of, to the work of theory of understanding and self understanding. But you know, you kind of lose that value when you think that value must be immediately instrumental rather than developing the wisdom of understanding who you are and the people that you are with. Gadamer on continental philosophy: "God already got me a little continental pilled again"
