The Importance of Mindfulness in Meditation
Do not engage in activities for the sake of personal gratification or pleasure. From taking a cookie, you will find that so many things you do just because it feels good have no direct connection with our spiritual life. Let our activities be yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Dhyan Yoga and Ganyoga,. Then those will not bind us at the time of meditation. This is called Yatta Chittatma, having the body mind under control. So this is the verse Yogi, the meditator, Yunji, the satatam, we continuously engaged.
