Hospital Admissions - The Most Expensive Part of the NHS

Hospital admissions are the most expensive part of the system. It's more expensive to care for somebody in a hospital than it is in various other settings. The NHS has been trying to triage or assess and decide on what to do with people who are presenting on well. But pathways can't make proper diagnoses, so they just funnels all these cases into A&E departments that don't need to be there. So we've got to deal with both of these issues - back door problem and front door problem.
