What Happens When Technology Changes?
The book is not about technology in general so much as the fact that all our communications a devices. All media we use, to some extent, including speech and language itself, is already technology. So if these media are media, they also mediate the spirit god's religious practices or mystical experiences. We need new tools, new media, understandings of how these new technologies change the religious nd occult dimension of earlier forms of communication technology.
