Lincoln's Relationship to Native Americans

After a brief stint in the military, Lincoln became a lawyer. He was elected as the Illinois State Representative and served four terms. Then he became a US Congressman in 1846 and ended up being elected to the House of Representatives. And finally, at one point, he became the President of the U.S., where he waselected as the 16th President at the time in 1860 and served until his destination in 1865.
