What's the Difference Between Drop Ears and Koalis?

Jim writes on facebook regarding the post flood fanning out of species such as koalis in to australia, but not europe. Drop ears have a distinct evolutionary vantage over regular coalas because they ifer. If you can only eat eucalyptus, that's that.
