Cleopatra and Mark Antony

Cleopatra had a sister called Arcinoae who was plotting to steal her throne. She ordered Mark Antony to arrange for her to be murdered, even though she was hiding in the sacred temple of Artemis. The Roman senate now declared that Cleopatra and Mark Antony were official enemies of Rome.
