Why Do We Need a Shit Coins?

Liquid federation is a group of people who want to use liquid for layer two payments. Some are anti-shichorn, but make an exception for stable coins like elcad and L cad. The other side says why do we need all these shood coins on the right? If if it's just a lay or two payment network for bit coin, great, let's do that. It's not a question of why, it's like, why not?
