Why Can't Christ Be a Human Person?
Sed Contra: A Podcast of Catholic Theology
Christ Is a Divine Person and Not a Human Person
Aquinas is biblical theologian. He says Christ has to be a divine person right this is biblically necessitated in john when Christ says I and the father are one. So scripture itself points to this necessity that Jesus is a divine person and not a human person. Right so exactly if he were a human person, then the subject of those statements would ultimately be that human person it wouldn't be the divine person at all.
