Invester Activism - Where Does the Controversy Come From?

Activist investors lit a bit like leaders. Some of them can be very influential and destructive, or productive. The question is, do they add or subtract on net? And i think it's really tough to look at the different strategies to really understand. But i'm kind of glad that these people are holding sios accountable.
