Next time you get a cold, for example, try a dry fast. Try like 36 to 48 hours. It's not too hard. Just no food and no drinking. Nothing goes in your mouth. Fasting when you're sick is actually easier. I just laid around and did nothing and it definitely helped. Definitely felt better fairly quickly. 24 hours, I was feeling much better. 36 hours, again, even better. Now I feel mostly normal, just a little congestion.
